By bus, it is a long and winding road from Erfoud to Marrakesh. It is far enough to require an overnight in Ouzazart. We did some sightseeing along the way, including a slight deviation from our route to visit the gorges of Toudgha.
Just prior to arriving at the gorges, there is a scenic overlook that offers an amazing panorama of the oasis that winds through the Sahara. Our route serpentined along the oasis as we made our way west. Below is a panorama capturing the lush Eden-like oasis that stretches for miles on end.
