卧冰求鲤

In ancient times, there was a child named Wang Xiang. After his mother passed away , his father married another wife, Wang Xiang’s stepmother. The stepmother didn't like Wang Xiang, but Wang Xiang remains obedient to stepmother.
On a cold winter day, his stepmother was sick and wanted to eat fish. So, Wang Xiang went to the river to catch fish. It was snowing and the wind from the north is blowing hard, it was simply impossible to catch any fishes since the river is already frozen.
Wang Xiang thought: I can use body temperature to melt the ice! So, he took off his clothes and lay on the ice. It was freezing cold that his teeth and whole body trembled, but he still resisted and endured... Suddenly, the ice under his body split and the two fishes jumped out. Wang Xiang was overjoyed, and rushed home to cook fish soup for his stepmother. The news spread and everyone praise the son for being filial.
古时候，有一个叫王祥的小孩子，他的生母去世了，父亲再娶了一个妻子，就是王祥的后母。后母不喜欢王祥，可是，王祥很听后母的话，后母叫他做的事，他都尽力做好。
一个寒冷的冬日，后母生了病，想吃活鱼，要王祥到河捉鱼。天下着大雪，北风呼呼地吹着，河水早已结冰，哪有鱼呢？
王祥想：我可以用体温使冰块溶化啊！他脱掉衣服，卧在冰上，刺骨的寒冰冷得他牙关打颤，全身颤抖，但他仍然强忍着、忍着……突然间，他身体下的冰块裂开了，两条鲤鱼跳了上来。王祥大喜，抱着鲤鱼飞奔回家，煮鱼汤给后母吃。在十里乡村传为佳话。人们都称赞王祥是人间少有的孝子
