Chapter 4
It was Friday and everybody started showing up. They all decided to go to the tavern for some drinks. That’s when Jordan and Sam said they were going to talk to them about the wedding and honeymoon. They all got settled with their drinks, Jordan asked everyone to 15th of September would be a good date for everybody. They all said yes it would be perfect. Then Sam said,” We are going to Italy for two weeks. Everyone thought that was great!
“Chief white owl is going to perform the ceremony in Astoria!” Said Sam. She added, “we are leaving the same day!”
“The chief will be here shortly.” Said Jordan. She added, “so you guys can all meet him.”
The chief came in and greeted Jordan and Sam and said, “well I guess this is all the gang you guys have been talking about.”
“Yes, they’re all here!” Said Jordan. She added, “pull up a chair!” So, he got one and the waitress came over to him and he ordered his usual pitcher of ale.
“Everyone this is chief white owl!” Jordan said. Everyone said hello and they were glad to meet him.
“Someone will have to come and get chief the weekend of the ceremony, anyone wants to volunteer?” Asked Sam.
Robert and Scott said, “we would do it!” Jordan said, “thank you!”
He would stay up at Madison and Allison’s apartment. Allison was glad to see her dad so happy.
The chief said, “you sound very happy where you living now.”
Madison and Allison both said they were happy for the help from these nice people. Allison said, “wait until you see the apartment!”
The chief said, “I can’t wait for either daughter!” He added, “I miss you, but I know these nice people will take care of you.”
Her mother Susan spoke up, “I brought some your artwork and picked out a booth and put money down on it for the weekend you can start showing your stuff tomorrow.”
Jordan said, “thank you so much mom especially since the gallery closed for the weekend.”
Her Mother said, “that’s what I thought of.”
Everyone drank and enjoyed their time together. But it was getting late and they had an early day tomorrow so everyone finished their drinks, paid the tab and walked over to the inn. Jordan had got the chief a room at the inn big in enough for him and Madison and Allison so they can visit more for the weekend. Everyone said good night.
The weekend was a blast Jordan sold quite a bit of art. Then Sunday came and it was time to go home. They said their goodbyes to the chief and said see them the weekend of 15 of September. Then everybody left to go home.
March was a busy month ordering everything for the wedding. Robin, Jordan’s mom, and Susan all helped. From how many chairs needed to the little air balloons for everyone. The garments finally came in and Jordan and Sam got to try them on. They fit perfect didn’t need any changes and Jordan even got one for her mom said she would be walking Jordan down the aisle. Robert even got one since he was going to walk Sam down now.
Robin got one since she was going to be best woman and Scott got one since he was to be best man some of the outfits needed alterations but not much.
Chief called and asked to come down sooner to spend more time with Allison and Madison. So Robert and Scott would get him sooner. March went by fast and it was the first of September. Jordan and Sam felt things were going too smoothly but it was nice. They all did and mock through wedding ceremony it went perfectly. They checked the weather forecast and all looked good. Jordan checked the weather for Italy and they went shopping her and Sam were close to fit what it was going to be like.
Then Jordan got a call that her present for Sam and finally come in. She was excited! So while Sam was at work she went and got it and brought it home with the help of Robin.
“She’s going to love it!” Said Robin. She added, “and she has no idea!” Jordan called Sam and asked her when she was getting off.
“I’m off now is heading home.” Said Sam. Jordan said, “okay see you soon.”
Sam drove up to a strange pick up in the driveway in front of the house where she usually parked. Jordan and Sam met her outside with a grins from ear to ear.
“What’s this? “Asked Sam. She added, “somebody here?”
“This is your surprise!” Said Jordan. She added,” I got it for you!”
“You’re kidding right?” Asked Sam. Jordan said, “no I’m not kidding!”
Sam started laughing so did Jordan and Robin. Jordan handed her the keys and said, “ get in!
It was a forest green pickup brand-new just off the truck. Jordan opens the door and told Sam to get in again. “Let’s take it for a test drive!”
“I don’t know what to say, love!” “Say you love it!” Said Jordan. “I love it and I love you!” Said Sam.
“How did you know green was my favorite color?” Asked Sam. Jordan added,” you are always commenting on my eyes.” Sam said, “I do don’t I love?”
“Yes, you do in your sweet for that.” Said Jordan. She added, “let’s go!” They got in and Sam started it up purred like a kitten. Sam leaned over and gave Jordan a kiss and said thank you love!
Robin waved as they drove off. She drove down to the end of the street and back and then asked,” what are we going to do with my other car?” Jordan answered, “well if it’s okay with you I was going to give to the chief.” Sam said,” that’s fine by me!” Sam drove back and parked it and turned off the engine.
This was Sam’s last day of work for a month leave. And she said to Jordan, “I’m all yours baby love!”
“Good, I’m going to need you!” Said Jordan. They went inside with Robin and talked about everything that needed to be done. They needed to confirm travel arrangements in places they were staying. To and from the airport was another one. The garments that had to be altered and the flower arrangements of gardenias which was Jordan’s favorite. The smorgasbord of food from the Italian restaurant and bottles of champagne and wine along with the glasses. The seating arrangements for everybody coming. Everything needed to go on time because the charter flight to Portland was leaving at 2 o’clock and their flight begins at 430. A limo was taking them to the charter flight and needed to be ready with all their luggage. The airline is going to be Lufthansa jet airline with one-stop in France then on to Florence, Italy which is a 15 hours flight. Limo will be waiting for them at the end of their flight take them to the Château that Jordan rented out for the two weeks. It will have servants and everything they need for their stay. They will use the limo to see all the sights they both want to see.
The ceremony itself probably only be 15 minutes if even that. Jordan printed out the Native American vows for her and Sam. The chief has his own. Champ and Nikita are going to be the ring bears. Sure to get a laugh. Sam has been taking it serious and walking them up and down the aisle at least twice today for last two days that everything’s been set up. There is no wind in the forecast or rain so it’s safe to have everything up and ready. They even have tables ready for the smorgasbord, champagne and wine.
While Robin went over all the details of what’s going to be happening the day of the wedding she couldn’t help it to still think of Sam’s parents. She just hasn’t had a chance or finds the right time to ask her. She thinks she would try tonight. She was afraid of opening an old wound but she really wanted to know it would give her a sense of who Sam is.
“Sam, can I speak to you alone in private?” Asked Jordan softly.
“Sure, something wrong?” Asked Sam.
They went to their bedroom it was theirs now. They sat on the bed and Jordan was nervous and grab Sam’s hands and held on tight.
“What is it you are scaring me?” Asked Sam.
“Okay, I’m just going to spill it. I’ve been wondering about your parents? You never talk about them. Why? What happened to them?” Asked Jordan.
“I knew this would come up sooner or later and I guess now is the best time. I haven’t been in touch with them for very long time since I was 16 when they kicked me out when I came out to them.” Answered Sam. She added,” I worked odd jobs until I was old enough to join the force and has been my life since.”
“So sorry Sam!” Said Jordan. She added, “do you think they’ve had a change of heart by now?”
“I don’t really care! They didn’t love me enough to accept me then.” Answered Sam.
“Where do they live?” Asked Jordan.
“County over from here, but don’t try anything, Jordan okay?” Asked Sam.
“I promise not sure anything.” Jordan said as she had her fingers crossed behind her back.
Jordan thought to just talk to them. She still needs them whether she knows it or not. And they may still feel the same. But their thoughts may have changed by now and may miss her very much. Jordan was going to find time tomorrow to look online for them. This is the first time and the only time that she will lie to Sam that she thinks it’s the right thing to do under these circumstances. She will risk everything with Sam but she’s willing to take it for Sam sake.
Jared and Levi are staying at Sam’s house to give them some privacy.
They went down to the front to the fire pit and Sam asked, “you want a fire and maybe a glass of wine or would you have rather have a Margarita?”
“You know a Bloody Mary sounds really good right now. Do we have what it takes?” Asked Jordan. She added, “fire sounds good.” Her mind was on Sam’s parents and what she was about to do against Sam’s wishes. She hopes that Sam’s anger towards her when she finds out, won’t last long.
“There’s makings for Bloody Mary now think I’ll have one too!” Said Sam. She added, “you want to start the fire while I make these?”
“Sure, I can do that.” Answered Jordan. She guessed Robin decided to go home since they were talking privately. Decided to text Robin while she was getting firewood, she was starting the fire, she got a text back from Robin. She texts that she would explain tomorrow. Good night love you. Robin texts goodnight back and she loved her too. She got the fire going and sat down waiting for Sam.
“I put plenty of olives in your’s because I know you like them so much.” Said Sam as she was walking out and sat down handing Jordan her drink. Jordan leaned over and gave Sam a sensual kiss.
Sam kissed back a sensual reply with her lips. When they finished, they sat staring at the fire, they were sipping their drinks. Sam was right about the olives, she loved them. Jordan decided to block out as she was about to do, for a nice evening with Sam. Just the two of them. Then she thought about food that she was feeling hungry.
“Sam, are you hungry?” Asked Jordan.
“Sure, hungry! yes, I am, what do we have to eat?” Asked Sam.
“Well, I thought a couple of steaks and some already cooked baked potatoes, that we can throw on the grill. We haven’t had steaks before, how do you like yours?” Asked Jordan.
“Medium, with pink inside. How do you like yours?” Asked Sam.
“Medium too! With pink inside too!” Jordan was ecstatic that they have that in common to like so many other things.
“Steak and potatoes sound good!” Answered Sam. She added, “You want another bloody Mary and you start the grill?”
“Sure, I’d love one baby.” Answered cheerfully Jordan. She added, “I’ll start up the grill and put the potatoes on their still wrapped in foil first because I will have to rotate them and the steaks would take just a little bit of time.”
They both did what they were going to do and sat down. And Sam handed Jordan her drink. They sat looking at each other longingly. Sam said, “what I want to do you right now!”
“That goes double for you in the shower!” Said Jordan.
“Not if I get you first!” Said Sam.
“Let’s get to eating and then to our room!” Said Sam.
“You said our room!” Said Jordan.
“Well, of course, this is where we are going to live, right?” Asked Sam
“well yes exactly, I’ve been meaning to talk to you about it.” She added, “do you want to rent your house time or by the week or whatever you thought about?” Asked Jordan.
“Yes I thought about it I think we need it out furnished by the week sounds good!” Answered Sam.
“Yes, that sounds great!” Answered Jordan. She added, “you take pictures and post it online.”
“Of course, there are some personal things, I would like to be here and a couple of things can go in storage.” Said Sam.
“I’ve got to see Robin about a couple of things for the wedding in the morning, but I can help you in the afternoon if that works out for you.” Said Jordan.
“Yes, that works for me to and I can take my time finding my personal stuff.” Answered Sam
So, it was time to rotate potatoes and probably the steaks too. Jordan got up she went and got the steaks and put them on the grill.
“It’s almost time to eat are you ready for what comes after?” Teased Jordan.
“More than ready, love!” Answered Sam taunting Jordan.
“Oh, you know what that word does to me!” Answered Jordan.
“If you flip the steaks and turn off the grill it won’t Burn them will it?” Asked Sam. She added, “I want you right now!” Said Sam seriously.
“No, it won’t burn them the gas grill will turn off automatically I will do it!” She added, “let’s do this!”
She turned off the grill and turn the steaks over and she grabbed both their drinks and headed inside, Sam was right behind her. Jordan sat the drinks on the bedside tables. She was right in front of Sam. Jordan started taking Sam’s clothes off and Sam did the same thing to Jordan. They were both naked and just staring at each other lovingly longing for each other’s touch. Sam went first. She guided Jordan onto the bed, laid her down softly and then began caressing her body. The lights were on but they didn’t care.
Jordan pulled Sam’s face up and began kissing her softly. Sam’s hands were all over her, she felt how wet she was. Sam moved down to her breasts as she left three fingers inside Jordan moving back and forth, in and out. Jordan yelled out Sam’s name and said she was going to come! Sam told her to let go! That’s what Jordan did, she let go! Came hard! Then Sam moved down to her clit started licking hard and sucking it, and it made Jordan explode! After a few minutes, they grabbed their drinks toasted to my life, my love, my everything! Jordan started laughing and said she’s going to have to wash this comforter tomorrow. That makes Sam laugh too.
“Are you hungry still?” Asked Jordan.
“Yes! I’m starving!” Said Sam.
Sam and Jordan to the shower together and washed each other’s body.
They got their pyjamas on tank tops and boxer shorts and went to the fire pit. It was down to embers so Jordan put another log on the fire. It didn’t take long for it to fire up. They both still had full drinks. Sam sat down, while Jordan turns on the grill she looked at the steaks they had not cooked that was good. She closed the lid and went inside and grabbed the butter, sour cream and silverware. Put everything in Sam’s lap. Sat down and took a drink and an olive.
“Dinner be done soon bab.” Said Jordan. She added, “since I love what you call me so much I want to find one for you. What do you like better, honey, hon or bab?”
“I love all three, they all make me want you!” Answered Sam.
Jordan didn’t answer right away she got up to check steaks and said, “dinner’s ready!”
The steaks on the plates and the potatoes, she opened them, they were hot. Then she handed Sam hers and sat down with hers. They both doctored their potatoes with butter and sour cream.
“You want anything to go on the steak?” Asked Jordan.
“No, I like it like this.” Sam said.
“So, do I!” Said Jordan.
They ate for a while and Sam said, “the steaks are perfect!” She added, “I’m going to cook for you tomorrow, okay?” “While I’m at my house gathering stuff, I’m going to cook.”
“What are you going to cook?” Asked Jordan. She added, “I’m intrigued!”
“For me to know only right now, okay?” Said Sam.
“Okay, I love surprises!” Answered Jordan.
“I’m Italian! My grandfather and grandmother on dad’s side and grandfather and grandmother on mom’s side came over on the same ship that’s how they met and fell in love.
“That’s interesting!” Said Jordan. She added, “you have to tell me more when you feel like it.
“I will.” Answered Sam.
