I have decided to do a photo series of my travel to Beijing as there are just too many nice photos to post in a single story. The city is full of beautiful historical sights. Lots to see but too little time to visit all the attractions.
In this first series, I will take you to the Forbidden City. It was the Imperial Palace from the Ming Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty (around 1420 to 1912). As the palace is huge, I will show the various sections of the Forbidden city as you enter from the front and walk towards to the back of the palace....It looks like it is all in one big area. But it is not.....
