Many comedians have lost the passion to make people laugh. In fact, they wished they never took entertainment as a profession. Do you know why? Most people are agelast. How will a stand-up comedian crack jokes for you to laugh and all you could do is steer at him as if he's teaching further maths? It's always heartbroken. At least, show your 32 to make him feel charged
Akpos once told me his dream was to become a comedian. The last time I checked, he was busy working as a tragedist. When I asked him why he dumped his ambition, he said he's tired of chasing his dreams, that the more he chase, the faster it runs, so he decided to let his dream go wherever it wants, that he will hook up with it later. He added "It's easier to make people cry than laugh". That was when I knew Akpos was frustrated out of comedy by the agelast audience
I don't know if my case would be related to Akpos's. I was in a show cracking jokes and sweating like a Christmas goat inside full AC. Out of about 70 people in the hall, only one person laughed at my joke (my younger brother). The look from other people was terrible. I had to console myself by laughing at my jokes uncontrollably on the stage maybe it would be contagious. After the whole madness, I left dragging my feet, and there was loud applause and a standing ovation. I was confused. Are they happy that a quack comedian is leaving for a better one to climb the stage or they enjoyed the rubbish I gave them?
And it was dancing time, then I heard her calling my name, praising me and walking towards me squeezing like a snake and melting like shea butter with her tiny voice. Oh my Gosh! You are the best. You are so funny. You lit the stage with your presentation. I laughed and nearly fainted. You touched my parts. You............... Hey, lady, enough, please. This was someone I saw looking at me like Cody Wilson, Omar Hassan al-Bashir, and Semion Mogilevich (all of them put together) while I was performing
But you didn't laugh. Oh! I was laughing profusely. I was laughing in my heart. That was when my heart told me I was a very poor and nasty comedian. She only has a plan for my money. Chai! Akpos has infected me with his bad luck. Maybe if I stop chasing my dream, it won't run from me anymore. As I was thinking, she was already hugging and patronizing me with all her big booties as the music played slowly
And I won't forget to say this.................. If my head is placed on boobs, my brain works in a reversed way, and at that point, I can empty my account while laughing like a fool. I have the same gene as Mr Maccaroni. So before this lady would put my brain inside a tin of milk, I threw my head to the back (A dancing style) She copied me and did the same, then her long Brazilian human hair worth $200 caught fire from the cake candle
I increased my dancing steps with a cool smile on my face. Everyone in the hall thought the smell that filled everywhere was from the burning ram that was to be used for barbecue. When the heat almost touched her scalp, she discovered what was happening then shouted for help. I quickly rushed and helped her put out the fire
Me: I thought you wanted it to burn that's why you didn't answer me when I was telling you.
Her: So you knew my hair caught fire.
Me: Yes. But I told you.
Her: You didn't tell me
Me: I was telling you in my heart, just the way you laughed in your heart while I was cracking jokes on the stage
She looked at me contemptuously. You are wicked. And I was like if people like you storm a comedy show, all comedians will stop chasing their dream. You are a part of Akpos's problem. If you know you won't laugh to jokes, why not attend a funeral.
While I increased my dancing steps, I never knew my trousers has torn exactly from the position of my Intergluteal cleft also known as butt crack, and my scrotum and his brother were dangling disgracefully without my consent. I realized what was happening when I felt a cool breeze entering through the torn space. When I looked back, I saw ten girls comfortably seated, watching free porn from my open TV. They laughed out loud. Why can't you just tell me? They all answered unanimously" I told you in my heart". They thanked me for the show and kept laughing.
Well. At least, I made some people laugh. It's just that it was ehmm......
