I’m starting to feel that Survival Mode might actually be a good idea because I’m getting really bored with playing Splinterlands. If players can’t upgrade their cards, there’s basically not much variation in gameplay. Sure, I could buy or rent cards, but buying them doesn’t seem like a good option—have you seen how much card values have dropped? Renting cards is a smarter choice, relatively speaking, but honestly, I feel a bit resistant to it. It’s not because the rental fees are cheap; it just doesn’t feel quite right to me.
As for Wild Mode, I think there aren’t many players there. To recover 3,000 $DEC, you’d probably have to grind really hard, and that’s why most players stick to Modern Mode. But it takes so much time, which brings me to this: I hate pulling Energy rewards. I’m just so tired of playing the game. But since it’s play-to-earn, I’m basically forced to play. Some might say, “Well, you can just stop playing”, but if I stop, then the money I’ve invested in Splinterlands is basically gone. It’s such a dilemma!
