Hi friends,
For those following Splinterlands updates, you’ve probably noticed several recent proposals aimed at adjusting the Rental Market. I’ve mentioned in my previous posts that the current Rental Market affects the Card Market and even the overall Splinterlands economy. One of the key features that sets GameFi apart from traditional games is the ability to earn while playing. Here, "earning" refers to cryptocurrencies—$SPS and $DEC—which can be converted into real-world fiat currency. I believe this is one of the main reasons most players are here. But as for these Rental Market adjustments, we’ll have to wait and see how effective they actually are.
Even though I’ve been grinding hard in Splinterlands, I’m feeling a bit frustrated because I haven’t been able to collect enough Rebellion Reward Soulbound Cards. While I could just trade for the specific Reward Cards I want, I still have a huge gap to fill—especially with new card packs coming in the future. For now, my best move is to keep collecting as many Reward Cards as possible.
On the bright side, I managed to get a decent amount of Merits this time, so hopefully, that’ll help me grab some stronger Gladiators. Collecting Gladiators is another long grind, but I’ll keep at it.
