A Wonderful Reward After Unlocking Modern Division 5 in Splinterlands
Today was another day in my Splinterlands journey. Every time I play this game I feel that there is something waiting for me. Sometimes I get a battle sometimes I receive cards and sometimes I reach a new division with some amazing rewards. Today was one of those moments because I successfully unlocked Modern Division 5 and the rewards I received made the achievement even more enjoyable.
When I saw the message that my new division had been unlocked I was honestly very happy. For me reaching a division is not only about the rewards. It also feels like proof that my time, effort and battle experience are slowly helping me improve.
Unlocking Modern Division 5
The first screenshot shows the moment when Modern Division 5 was unlocked. Seeing the big "UNLOCKED" message on the screen immediately made me feel proud. I have played battles to reach this point and every victory and defeat has taught me something.
Splinterlands is a game where simply having cards is not always enough. We need to understand the rules of each battle the mana, the abilities of our cards and the best positions for our monsters. Sometimes a low-cost card can become extremely useful when placed in the position. Because of this every new division feels like another step in my gaming experience.
Reaching Modern Division 5 also means that I can continue competing at a level. This gives me more motivation to improve my collection and learn better strategies.
The Reward Opening
After unlocking the division I went to the reward screen. I could already see several reward chests waiting for me. There is always a feeling when opening rewards in Splinterlands because we never know exactly what we are going to receive.
The first reward shown was 4,000 Glint. I was very happy to see this amount because Glint is extremely useful for opening reward items and continuing to build my collection. I always try to use my resources so receiving a good amount of Glint gives me more opportunities to open additional rewards in the future.
30 Merits and 499 Merits
Another reward I received was 30 Merits. It may look like a reward but I still appreciate it because every amount of Merit can contribute toward future Guild-related activities and rewards.
I also received another reward of 499 Merits, which was a nice surprise. Getting both Merit rewards together made the overall reward opening satisfying.
I have learned that small rewards can become valuable when collected over time. Of looking at one reward separately I like to think about how all these resources can help me in future battles and pack openings.
Legendary Potion Charge
One of the interesting rewards from this opening was a Legendary Potion Charge. Seeing a potion reward always makes the reward opening feel more special.
Potion charges can be useful when opening packs because they can increase the possibility of receiving higher-rarity cards. I always enjoy collecting these types of resources because I never know when they will become important during a pack-opening session.
Even though this reward was not a card itself I was still happy to receive it. In my opinion a good reward session does not always have to contain a Legendary card. Different types of resources can be useful in ways.
Ironwing Juggernaut
Among the cards I received was Ironwing Juggernaut, a card that immediately caught my attention. I always enjoy receiving cards because each card adds another option to my collection.
In Splinterlands every battle can be different. Because of that I do not want to depend on a few cards. I want to build a larger collection so that I can respond to different rulesets and mana limits.
Careless Badger is now another card that I can experiment with in battles. I am looking forward to finding situations where it can perform well.
Withered Old Sage
Another card from the reward screen was Old Sage. I was pleased to see another addition to my collection.
What I like about receiving cards through rewards is that I do not always have to purchase them.
As my collection grows I can compare cards. Decide which ones deserve to be leveled up for future battles.
Surgehammer
The final card shown in the reward opening was Surgehammer.
I always look at received cards as future possibilities. Even if I do not immediately know where I will use a card I keep it because future battle rules may create the situation for it.
That is why I enjoy collecting cards of focusing only on their immediate value.
My Overall Feeling
Overall I am very happy with todays reward session.
The biggest thing I take from this achievement is motivation. Every new division gives me another reason to keep playing and improving. I will probably lose some matches as well.. That is part of the game.
My goal is to continue building my collection step by step and become a player.
For now I am simply enjoying this achievement. Modern Division 5 is unlocked the rewards have been. My journey continues. I am thankful for every reward I receive and every battle that helps me improve.
Hopefully my next reward opening will bring another surprise. Until then I will keep battling, collecting cards saving resources and enjoying my Splinterlands journey. This is another meaningful achievement, in my gaming journey and I am very happy to share it with the community.
