Hello, Splinterlands friends!
I recently decided to purchase a card called Orc Sergeant.
I always enjoy improving my collection by adding cards because every card can bring something different to my battles.
This time I chose Orc Sergeant because I believe Orc Sergeant can become a part of my collection as I continue to develop my battle strategy.
My Experience of Buying Orc Sergeant
Buying a card is always an interesting moment for me.
Before purchasing a card I like to look at its statistics and think about how I might use it in battles.
I do not want to collect cards only to increase the size of my collection.
My main goal is to find cards that can help me build a team and give me more options when preparing for different battles.
When I looked at Orc Sergeant I became interested in its appearance and statistics.
It is an Earth Unit card and its design gives it an aggressive look.
The card looks like an orc warrior who is ready to enter the battlefield and support the team.
I purchased this card for a total of 201.71 DEC as shown in my purchase screenshot.
For me every purchase is an opportunity to learn more about the game and improve my collection step by step.
I hope this card will be useful in my battles.
Orc Sergeant Card Statistics
According to the card information shown in my screenshots Orc Sergeant is a Common Earth Unit.
At Level 1 it has the statistics:
- Mana Cost: 5
I must also make sure that my entire lineup works together.
At Level 1 Orc Sergeant has one attack point, two speed points and six health points.
Its six health points give it some staying power although it does not have any armor at this level.
Since it has one attack point I would not consider it a heavy damage dealer.
One important thing I noticed is that Orc Sergeants statistics improve as it reaches levels.
This gives me another reason to consider keeping Orc Sergeant in my collection and potentially upgrading it in the future.
The Importance of Orc Sergeants Ability
The Orc Sergeant card displays an ability icon in the screenshots.
However the exact ability name is not visible in the images. I do not want to make an incorrect claim about its effect.
Before using Orc Sergeant in a battle I would check the ability description in the game.
Understanding an ability is very important because even a card with attack statistics can become valuable when its ability works well with the rest of the team.
I believe players should always take time to understand their cards of choosing them without a plan.
A good strategy is not about having powerful cards.
It is also about knowing what each card can contribute to the battle.
As I gain experience with Orc Sergeant I hope to discover the best ways to include Orc Sergeant in my lineup.
I will also pay attention to how Orc Sergeants ability works with teammates.
Why I Want to Improve This Card
One of the things I like about Splinterlands is that cards can become more useful as players collect copies and upgrade them.
Orc Sergeant has higher levels and its statistics change as it progresses.
At Level 2 the card requires five copies according to the statistics table.
Its health increases from six to seven while its attack and speed remain at one and two respectively.
At Level 3 the card requires fourteen copies in total.
Its speed remains at three.
Its health returns, to six according to the displayed table.
These changes show why I should consider the statistics rather than assuming that every level increases every attribute.
Higher levels can also bring abilities. The statistics table shows that another ability appears at Level 6.
Course upgrading a card requires resources so I will not rush to level it up immediately.
Choosing the Right Battle Position
Positioning is a part of Splinterlands. Even a good card may not perform well if I place it in the position. Therefore I want to understand Orc Sergeant’s role before deciding where Orc Sergeant belongs in my lineup.
At Level 1 Orc Sergeant has one attack point and six health points. Based on these statistics I would be careful about placing Orc Sergeant in a position where Orc Sergeant must absorb repeated attacks from powerful enemies.
Orc Sergeant’s best position depends on Orc Sergeant’s attack type, Orc Sergeant’s ability and the rules of the battle. I would check whether Orc Sergeant’s attack can target enemies from positions and whether Orc Sergeant’s ability requires Orc Sergeant to occupy a particular place in the team.
If Orc Sergeant works best as a supporting unit I may place Orc Sergeant where Orc Sergeant can contribute without being exposed to danger. If Orc Sergeant’s ability becomes more effective under conditions I will adjust my lineup accordingly.
Building a Better Earth Team
Since Orc Sergeant belongs to the Earth element I can consider using Orc Sergeant when building an Earth team provided the battle rules allow it.
When using Orc Sergeant I would look for teammates that can cover Orc Sergeant’s weaknesses. For example a card with defensive statistics could help protect vulnerable positions while another unit might provide additional damage.
I would also consider the mana. Orc Sergeant costs five mana so I need to decide whether Orc Sergeant’s contribution is worth that amount in a battle. In low‑mana battles I may need to choose a combination. In battles with available mana I may have greater freedom to experiment.
This is why learning about cards is so important. Every new purchase gives me another opportunity to understand team building and develop a flexible strategy.
Learning From Every Battle
I know that purchasing a card does not automatically guarantee more victories. Winning depends on things, including the opponent’s lineup, battle rules, card levels, positioning and the choices I make before the battle begins.
That is why I want to use Orc Sergeant as part of my learning process. After each battle I can look at the result. Think about what worked well and what I could improve.
If Orc Sergeant performs well I can continue testing strategies. If Orc Sergeant does not perform as expected I can change Orc Sergeant’s position or experiment with a team composition.
I believe this is one of the enjoyable parts of Splinterlands. The game gives me opportunities to learn through experience than relying on a single strategy for every match.
I also enjoy sharing these moments with the community. Even a single card purchase can be a part of my journey because it represents another step toward building a collection that suits my playing style.
My Future Plans for Orc Sergeant
For now I am happy to have Orc Sergeant in my collection. I want to use Orc Sergeant in battles and learn more about Orc Sergeant’s strengths and weaknesses.
If I find that Orc Sergeant performs with my existing cards I may consider collecting more copies of Orc Sergeant and upgrading Orc Sergeant in the future. However I will make that decision after gaining experience with Orc Sergeant.
I also want to continue improving my collection. Than focusing on only one powerful card I believe it is useful to have different options, for different battle rules and mana limits.
Every card has its characteristics and learning how to use those characteristics effectively is part of becoming a better player.
I am excited to test Orc Sergeant and see how it fits into my Earth team. I hope Orc Sergeant will give me options and help me create more interesting battle strategies.
I enjoy collecting cards learning about their statistics and finding ways to use them effectively.
Orc Sergeant costs five mana has one attack point, two speed points and six health points at Level 1. Orc Sergeants future upgrades will offer possibilities and I am keen to see how Orc Sergeant performs as I gain more experience.
I know there is still a lot to learn. I do not expect every purchase to become an immediate game changer. For me the fun comes from experimenting, improving strategy and gradually building a collection.
I hope Orc Sergeant will become an addition to my team. I will continue playing, learning and exploring strategies as I move forward in Splinterlands.
Thank you much for reading about my latest card purchase. I wish all Splinterlands players the best of luck, in their battles. Keep enjoying the game keep learning and keep building your collections!
