@tanjakoladerBefore we entered the coffee shop, it dawned upon my friend that he needed to prepare us for what he read online about Luhu - the cafeteria - and that is that it's staffed by people with hearing impairments. If one has no experience in sign language, pointing out the order or writing it down or showing it via a phone message is sufficient to request a drink and/or a snack.
@arduilcelebrenEven when you look at the café from the outside, it has an inviting atmosphere. It immediately attracted my mother's attention and I recommended sitting in this cafe so as not to offend her. Normally, such concept cafes in places like Taksim are very expensive. Let me tell you how much money we spent on average.
The lattes and desserts you see in the picture cost around 300 Turkish liras in total. 15 dollars with today's exchange rate.
@numa26When we asked for the menu, the waiter was very friendly and explained to us that coffee beans from Colombia and Brazil are consumed in the establishment because of their quality. Both are producers of excellent coffee. He explained that Colombia produces one of the smoothest coffees in the world, as well as its aromatic fruity taste, which makes it special.
@milik80I go to the place and ask what kind of coffee they had and what prices, I automatically ask for my American espresso coffee, I really thought it was super economical and for its cosy place. Let me tell you that I am addicted to coffee and at home I prepare it either in my coffee maker or in the traditional cloth strainer, but I make it well loaded.
@mdosevThe taste is really acidic, but when extracted properly there is some great balance with the sweethess of the beans. It is said to taste like cocoa nibs, cherry cola and vanilla and I totally agree with that. There is not that specific fruitiness of some Kenyan and Ethiopian coffee varieties, but the anaerobic process gives a lot of complexity to the beans.
@lucianavDulce Tentación is that coffee shop that is always visible, since as I mentioned, it is located in one of the cubicles in the middle of the hallway, on the first floor, near the escalators and there is always movement in that area. They have a lot of variety, such as hot coffee in its typical presentations (Americano, Espresso, Cappuccino), cold coffees like Frappuchino, milkshakes, Nestea, soft drinks, desserts, cookies, breakfasts and much more.
@adetorrentWe found the place by accident while walking along the reservoir near Stoke Newington. It is a relatively new joint on the ground floor of a relatively newly erected tower in the area. You know the ones, the mixed residential/commercial units going up all over the city. The ground floors of such buildings are often dedicated to "express" versions of supermarket chains like Tesco, a restaurant, a gym or cafe, amongst other things.
@gaboamc2393For those with a sweet tooth, a good cake to cut and share among several of the attendees. As there are a thousand and one tastes, there are people who like to drink coffee with very sweet foods, so that the coffee tastes bitter. So to those people I would bring this kind of sweets. On the other hand, for those who like something more homemade and crunchy, there is also something very tasty, buñuelos.
If there's one thing I love about a coffee shop, it's that it's traditional... That the atmosphere feels like home and in this place where I like to come those things are in abundance.
We would have each coffee lover's favorite brewed. I have known the owners of this coffee shop since I was a child. In fact, the young man who makes the coffee was in school and his sister was in my class. That's why I feel the familiarity. That's what we need to feel when we have a good coffee. That's why I would like to welcome the Cinnamon Cup Coffee people to this place.
@universoperdidoA party with members of the cinnamon cup coffee community? That would be great! It would be exciting to meet them in person and share our various coffee tastes in person. I'm always excited to share different opinions with people, thanks to digital, we can connect. I don't know if I have anything to show for it, plus my bad jokes and familiarity that I can bestow on other people. When it comes to chatting and tasting coffee, I can feel at ease and comfortable with the people I'm with.
