"I came to a realisation long ago that I don't just love coffee but I'm actually addicted to it. I'm not alone. The reason why there are so many lovers of this foul tasting brew is addiction, plain and simple. It's not actually foul tasting though, far from it, rather there is a vast range of tastes and after-tastes that may only be detectable after many years of drinking the dark stuff. In that respect coffee is similar to tea or even wine.
I drink a few cups of coffee daily, depending on how stressed out I am or how much work I need to get done. Pre-pandemic, I spent many hours in cafes with my laptop typing or editing away. There were some cafes that I liked more than others which I frequented more and spent more time in. One starts to recognise the same faces in those places and, like me, they're all addicted to the wonder brew. The cafes love us, of course, because we keep the coffee tap flowing and payment cards swiping."@adetorrent
My coffee tastes better. Richer, smoother, nuttier.. If I just brew it the good old fashioned way, in the pot or Keurig cup insert. What the heck! I am chalking this up to user error, but maybe it is something else. Something else like crappy coffee, or non-filtered water. I have no clue, but I thought this would be a GREAT community to toss this post into since I know @c0ff33a will see it! PLEASE HELP!!!
All Funny Aside .. I really am wondering what the heck is going on. I followed the directions to a tee and the coffee still tasted blah. I made a new cup, adding more coffee, freshly ground coffee, hotter water (Hotter than boiling! hehe), and even allowed it to sit there for about 30 minutes. Still the coffee tasted terrible; watery and bitter." @bdmillergallery
"Summer afternoons are always very hot here in southern Italy and even today the temperatures well exceed 30 degrees Celsius. So, having the good fortune of living near the sea, my family and I decided to relax and find shelter from the heat, sitting comfortably at the table of the Barbayanne bar and tasting our cold espresso.
The expression cold is has a little coffee on the bottom and is covered with creamy white ice cream, little more than liquid, and in the transparent glass the two layers are clearly distinguishable. At this point, equipped with a teaspoon, you have to mix for a few seconds and wait for everything to blend evenly, finally obtaining a creamy coffee ice cream.." @claudio83

In a common pot we add the 100 grams of sugar and we take to the stove over low heat (in this way we avoid the sugar to burn) we begin to move with a wooden paddle, then we add little by little the 15 ml of water and we continue moving until the sugar melts. @danaeliz29

"There was a time when its use and acceptance wasn't as widespread as it is today. In Europe, coffee was sometimes seen as the drink of trouble-makers because of its association with coffeehouses, where political issues were discussed and plots concocted. Coffee turns you into a blabbermouth if given half a chance, as the existence of this post vividly illustrates. In most cases, however, the drink was generally accepted. Some religious practitioners saw the benefit of drinking coffee, for example, because the brew allowed them to focus during long hours of study, prayer, or meditation." @litguru
"The weekdays are almost over it is Friday and for me the week went very quick like so fast.
The weather hasn't been that great today but the rain has now stopped so I might take the opportunity and go for a long walk and get a little exercise as I haven't been outside today at all but first I must finish this amazing cup of coffee so I have the energy for the walk I'm aiming for 5km but whether we will hit that is a different story. The weekend is here I hope you have a wonderful Friday and weekend ahead hive community

"Fika is a very important concept in Sweden. It means "having a cup of coffee and chat". So, I came to Kista for fikađ°â.Swedish people value their lives being "just right" aka "lagom", which means " just right amount of things, not too little or not too much". You have to enjoy your life, so why not take a break and lead a "lagom" life? You have enough money to live, so take it easy. I see that's how Swedish people lead their lives. When you work sometime, then you fika with your colleagues. After you finish some work, then fika with your team members. That's how Swedes work." @mizuosemla âđŞđ
