Traveling is one thing I enjoy doing.
I love visiting places, and I find joy in doing this. There are many means of public transport, both rail, air, and land. The only public transport I can afford is a car. I love traveling with public transport. It is really fun to travel in a public car, and I enjoy the driver and passenger dreams. I travel with my dad in his private car, which is not fun like public transport. Most of the people that have been of help to me are people I meet on public transportation.

One morning, my aunt called me and told me that I should come over to Lagos to help her prepare for her wedding. I was really happy because I have been longing to go to Lagos.

I love nighttime journeys so much because the road is always free, but my parents were not in support of me traveling at night due to the insecurity in my country. They warned me, but I didn't listen to them.

On the day I was to live, I make sure I was in the park before 6 p.m. I was the fourth person to arrive. I went inside the car and chose a seat near the window where I could have a view of everything. We waited for other passengers to come by 7 p.m., and our vehicle departed.

Our journey was going smoothly, but not until we got to Benin. We had a flat tyre , and the driver told everyone to come down from the vehicle. At this point, I was really scared. The drive brought out another tyre to fix with the help of other passengers. It wasn't up to 30 minutes when we started hearing gun at the point where I wasn't feeling my legs again. I was really scared. I am this kind of person who can't stand gun shots before I could know it had urinate on my body.

Immediately everyone jumped into the bush. I was so scared, I pray to God to save me. If I survive this one, I will never disobey my parents again.

After some time, we couldn't hear the sound of the gun again, and we crawled out of the bush. And continue our journey. Those robbers kill people and go away with their properties. The tension and everything made me so scared that I didn't know when I slept off until I got to Lagos. The driver woke me up at the last bus stop.

My aunt was at Park waiting for my arrival. When we got home, I narrated to her how my journey was. She was like, Thank God, what will I tell your parents if those robbers have harmed you?

I called my parents and told them about my journey; they were like, had it been you listened to us, you couldn't have experienced that. This experience still leaves a deep mark on me.

After the instance, I stop my nighttime journey and listen to my parents advice.
