When growing up we were trained in a way that we never tell lies to our parents no matter what our believe then was if you lie mom and dad will no cope with the fact that any time we go to church the priest will tell us that any child that lie will go to hell fire and devil will be our father with the fear and how the describe the hell fire for us we are always honest to our parents.
Secondly my dad younger brother is a priest in the Catholic Church he was the one that train in fact you can't there lie to him already you want to die that day.am always afraid of cane in fact the moment i see cane i will say the truth.
But there come a time in life that one have to lie in order not to punish by our parents or teacher.people lie on a daily basis some lie to sell their goods and so on.
Lying is never a good thing but at times one have to lie but in honestly lie is too bad because most times it damage our reputation.
My experience
I wish i never said the truth i was one hot afternoon our chemistry was passing our school garden some members of my class mate throw stone on her and the were laughing at the mistress he went to the staff room and inform our compound master. The next day after our morning assemble our compound master and the mistress came to our class the ask who throw stone on the chemistry teacher nobody asked.
Our compound master said he will punish everyone if nobody open up everybody was silent seeing the face of our compound master and the cane in his hand i stood up and point the people involved the next thing i see was my compound master flogging me all over my body that i no the truth why did i voice out and i allow him pass through stress. The whole class was against me with the pain i was feeling i regret ever saying the truth.
