Christmas is a period we long for; it is a season that unites people with joy and love. Christmas is one season I love so much; it is full of enjoyment and merriment. The way we prepare for Christmas, you will think that it will last for months because people empty their savings just for Christmas. Funny enough, the season doesn’t last for weeks; it is just a matter of days. Everyone will move back to their base.
For someone like me that loves Christmas so much, I start preparation two months before the season. I see Christmas as a big season; that is why I take my time to prepare for the season. When it comes to Christmas, so many preparations are put into action to make sure that it is a memorable one. It is a season that brings joy, love and happiness into the lives of people.
The joy that comes with Christmas is so overwhelming that I pray and hope that Christmas comes twice a year because of the fun that comes with it. My Christmas celebration is a memorable one because I meet my relatives I have not seen for years. There is a lot to eat and drink this year. Christmas is my best, if I must say so. My Christmas celebration is so funny; I enjoy every bit of the Christmas celebration.
On the 25th of December my uncle celebrated his 50th birthday. It was really fun. I was so busy that day serving people and meeting new relatives I had not met before that I forgot to snap a single picture that day. My Christmas celebration went well. It only pains me that I was not able to carry out all my plans for Christmas because the time was short. I have to go back and start work the little moment I spend with my family now is. The a memorable one. The love, joy and merriment were top-notch.
I am hopeful that some of the plans I was unable to achieve last year at Christmas I will do this year at Christmas. I have a special season, if I must say, which is always one of the things that always brings me back home every year. You see, my love for culture can’t be overemphasised. I love my culture, and my culture is so dear to me. You see, the masquerade festival is one thing that always brings me home for my special session when it comes to Christmas.
