It was a hectic day, yet impactful, memorable, and joyful. I am surprised to see that the time is already past 10 pm and I am still stretching myself, resting from this day's activities right since early morning when I left my home.
I would have said that my day was so much more stressful, but I wouldn't say that since I ended it all with joy, gratitude, dance, food of different kinds, and drinks.
I am in awe of what God can do, honestly. He chooses to show mercy on whom he wants to show mercy on. Indeed, people carry different grace, and that's why if you copy what someone else did and it worked out for her perfectly, it may not have the same story for you.
So there is this lady, one of in our women's group in the church, a very active member and an official, always there serving others and serving God using her money; sadly, she has been so sick for two years and has been in the hospital. It was so easy to notice her absence due to her kind of person.
It was a sickness she didn't want to disclose, but it required surgeries and removing her blood and transfusing another. The few of us that saw her at the early stage of her sickness shed tears looking at her condition. In the space of these two years, she did 4 surgeries, and I couldn't help but imagine the hell she has gone through, but in all of this, God spared her life.
I wouldn't want to go deep over the main thing she suffered, but overall, her existence is a pure miracle. And so today, she hosted a SURVIVAL celebration of life, which is wonderful. The event began in our church service, and the whole church was up for her thanksgiving, including the priest.
Obviously tapping from her survival life isn't negotiabl. Grace found her; the mercy of God found her, and instead of gathering for her burial, we gathered to dance to the glory of God and to the defeat of the devil, so yeah, the party was superb.
We danced for for like two hours, and I got so exhausted.
Overall, it's a memorable day of recognizing God's unfailing love upon his children, so yeah, the party was needed.
How was your day? eventful like me or reflective?
Have a blessed new week.
