Hello, dear Hivers!

It's Friday, and it's time for Market Friday.

It's actually my first time posting in this community, so let me show you the last market I visited that I really enjoyed!

Presenting the strEAT Market! char

The other week, we went to an amusement park, and we were pleasantly impressed by how enjoyable and delectable the display of food in the market inside was. It wasn't there the last time we went there; that was before the pandemic. There were snack booths scattered around the place, but this time there's a feast right after the entrance. How cool and inviting is that, right?

The Entrance.

The row of food stands was right at the park's entrance, making it difficult to resist indulging in some mouthwatering aromas while waiting in line to purchase admission tickets. Before your day at the park even begins, the aroma of delicious meals will make you famished. This location for the food market is well planned out.

Lemme show you some of the photos taken inside this food feast.

First stop. The corndogs, potato twister, nachos and fries station.

We were traveling with two kids, one of whom is a toddler who is eager to explore everything that is new to him, and both of them were overly excited. So the first thing I did was look for a food that the kids would enjoy so I could pin them down. LOL That way I can enjoy my food too.

I ordered corndogs and potato twisters for the boys; I didn't order for myself because corndogs are too heavy for me to be eaten first in a feast. I want to leave a room for more food that I will try later, but I took a bite from their order just to "taste test" so, you know, mommy needs to know if it tastes good enough.

Kids don't exhibit any signs of hunger when they are overly enthusiastic and excited. But they did enjoy the corndogs, especially the one filled with mozzarella. They loved pulling the cheese inside the corndogs. They wanted to order more, but I suggested they try something else, not just the corndogs.

So we moved to the next stall.

Japanese Street Food

This stall didn't appeal to the kids, maybe because they serve mostly kani salads and maki. I ordered maki and salad for myself before we moved on to the next stall while waiting for our order.

INIHAW Grilled Skewered Meat

We just checked this stall, and after finding out there's a queue of orders waiting to be grilled, we skipped ordering and moved on to the next booth.

Mixed Asian Street Food

In this stall there's fried dumplings, chaofan, dynamite ( deep fried stuffed long green chilli wrap in thin crepe), turon (deep fried sweet banana wrap crepe) and vegetables lumpia.

I ordered dynamite and lumpia from this stall to try it out, and it was delicious.

Refreshments

I love the fresh natural juice they sell here, we bought dalandan juice for the kids, melon juice for hubby and cucumber lemon for me. We loved the cucumber lemon so my husband ordered another one after finishing his melon one.

We were already full after finishing the refreshments, so we walked around and tried kiddie rides. They still wanted to go back to the sweet booths, but we promised the kids we would go back after some time to give our tummies a little time to breathe.

We chose kiddie rides over thrill rides because we had a toddler and our stomachs were too full to ride a coaster and a drop tower.馃槀

After consuming half of our ride tickets we let the kids have their sweet treats.

The Sweet Station

This is the booth where we stayed the longest because they couldn't decide which toppings they liked.

Here's the order of my eldest son, the one filled with marshmallows; the little kid, my toddler, just wanted some Oreos and pretzels on his ice cream waffles.

They couldn't finish as the waffles are too big for their consumption, plus they are still full from the food we ordered minutes ago. My husband and I end up finishing our food because otherwise it would go to waste.

We still have half of our tickets to consume before going back to the hotel. But guess what? All the sweets made the little kid sleepy.

Sugar rush馃槀

It's 1 o'clock in the morning here, so I should probably end this, as uploading these photographs got me hungry once more.

I'll see you in the next blog.

Keep safe.
