We were busy yesterday looking for an animal costume for my eldest son that he needs for school next week. We roamed around two malls searching for a costume store. He has an old costume in the closet, but he has already outgrown it. We found two stores that sells costumes, but sadly, what's available is either too small or too big for him. One of our neighbors heard about our search and offered a helping hand. Apparently she has an old costume her kids used years ago, and she asked me if it would fit my child. Luckily, it did! My son instantly tried it, and after seeing it fit, he flipped his wings and ran around the room like a chicken.
"Mommy, take a photo of me and send it to Mama La," he said. MamaLa is his grandmother, who is residing in a different province, and he always keeps her updated about school. And he always gets a reward in return every time she sees a great result from an exam or activity in school.
"Clean up your mess first before I take a photo," I answered him.
"No, that's okay!" he replied. "Let's just pretend I'm in a chicken coop; that explains the mess," he added.
Alright then, so we live in a chicken coop now, so please don't mind all the mess you'll see from now on. lol
