How much are steemers making?

I've been curious, how much are Steemit members making? I still don't understand the Steem Wallet works, to be honest. Although I'm trying to learn little by little.

I just needed some motivation, I guess.

I see @doitvoluntarily is making lots and lots of dollars, as shown in the $$$$$ in the footer of the posts. I wonder how much of that dollars, when converted to raw dollars is worth?

Anyone care to share? Thank you in advance.
