Recently I have been wondering again, how much SPS should I have or should I stake so I have the most efficient one. We can rent in SPS from the market, but how much we should have, it might differs for everyone. And what I say for this, is not about how much we should rent in, but how much we should own them, those SPS token.
If it is only about how much effective staked SPS we have on our account, without owning them, we can use this table
Although I take this table directly from in-game, the numbers are a bit scrambled tehre. For a Silver league, we need to have 50.000 staked SPS. We will get 6 fortune entries every 5 wins. For a Gold League, we will need 250.000 saked SPS, and we will get 12 fortune entries every 5 wins. and So on.
We can rent them in, but how much should we have anyway? Honestly I believe every Splinterlands players should own their own SPS and staked them, SPS rental market should not be exist. But that's my personal opinion, I might be wrong there although I might be right too lol.
Recently I own 65k staked SPS. Is it suffice my need? Actually it doesn't, and the Simple thing we can figure out is to add more staked SPS up to 250k staked SPS and we will see if it works and fulfills my expectation.
Well that's about adding $800 worth of SPS, and I don't think I should do that. It is not me being negative here, but I already invested more than $3000 in this game... and lost 80% of their value lol.
So I will take another approach...
My 65.106 staked SPS generate 81,112 SPS, it's the staking reward. At the same time, I have a node license and it generate 189,823 SPS. So if I think that my Staked SPS should match how much my node generates, it means I have to own 65.106 SPS x (189,823/81,112), or 65.106 SPS x 2,34 = 152.350 staked SPS.
The number is between a silver league needed staked SPS and gold league needed staked SPS. It also means I need to add around 90k SPS again, around $300, which is a more reasonable budget for me.
So should I aim this new number? Well why not. I believe if every players try to own that number, the SPS price would be better and stronger than the current price, which every players, using multiple accounts wearing the Scholarship mask, keep selling all SPS they get because they could rent in SPS with a lot cheaper value.
I can't blame them, everyone needs to eat, right? Maybe it's their life working playing Splinterlands all the time like working in office. For me, Splinterlands is a game and we should have fun from it, not working and expecting it pays all our bills.
