He had grown tired of looking ahead
His life had been a mess--his heart bleeds
Failure had stabbed him with a thousand blades
Maybe it would have been better being born a weed

"Dream, and you'll become anything you wanted"
Truly he is a fool for believing such creed
Dreams don't just come to being like sprouta from seeds
Struggle to much and one can end up dead....

Pathetically, the man gave in to his inner demons
But who could blame him if life gives him lemons?
Failures are everywhere, it's too common
The man failed enough, courage he can't summon

He passed his days drowning in alcohol
He knew that what he's doing is the work of a fool
Yet it's the only way he could keep his cool
The only way to survive society that treats him as a tool

But one day he opened his eyes and realized
That there's no reason for him to be penalized
Still can he fix a heart that had been vandalized?
Can he escape the darkness without being brutalized?
