Consistency is Key

We've all heard that phrase at least once in our life, likely more. So much, in fact, that we may not even know what the hell it means. Consistency is key? To what exactly? For me, I think it will be the key to my eventual success on the Steemit platform. Which is why I've decided to start an experiment of sorts involving... YOU GUESSED IT: consistency.

One of the main struggles I've had since joining the platform a little over a year ago is my hit and miss discipline in actually making posts. I will go a few weeks at a time posting regularly and then just drop off the face of the earth. Needless to say, this "strategy" isn't exactly paying off for me in any sort of way. It is easy to get frustrated when our posts are overlooked or don't receive the payouts we feel they are worthy of. But ask yourself this: How can I receive maximum payouts if I'm not allowing myself to get maximum exposure?

It's a simple formula really. The more you post, the more visible you become to the rest of the community. Duh? So why am I just now deciding to make an effort? I couldn't tell you. But I AM going to be making an active effort to increase my following on the Steemit platform and this post is my initial attempt to establish some base numbers to work with.

As of now, here are my current stats on Steemit:

Followers - 893

Posts - 781

Level - (55)

Currently, I am challenging myself to post every day, at least once, for an entire month to see how these numbers may change. I am hoping that by doing so, my average payouts will also start to increase as well. If you guys are interested in tracking my progress, I have already started a daily vlog on dTube that I am committed to continuing on a daily basis as well. So far, I am 3 days in and going strong!
