I have truly found out that in life doesn't matter whatever it is anyone does, no matter whatever it is you engage in, to gain mastery, to succeed in it truly requires consistency.

to me this is a key role in achieving success, at some point I thought of writing a book about consistency, because I have found out under the sun that everything in life, if one must become and evolve into a desired reality, really requires consistency.

today I walked past a woman who I have noticed fries groundnut every day and I thought about this, how it's possible that she can do this and buy land, build a house from frying groundnut it's very possible.

here's what consistency truly is, consistency is all about a continuation of doing a particular thing over and over again, not just a one time thing but rather continuing in a particular thing till success is achieved, a lot of people think the reality of success as a far end results instead of understanding what led to success, success is a product of being consistent.

however truly consistency matters more than motivation but consistency is likely possible only when there is a sight of growth, you're likely to continue doing something when there is a sight of growth or possible outcome, however where there are no result it becomes impossible to continue and that's where motivation comes in.

motivation will be useless if it doesn't push you to continue in consistency, especially in the area of gaining results in business, personal growth or any area of endeavor, like in business the first year can be horribly slow, losses and failures are inevitable in these phases you need motivation, what motivation really does is to reinforce your initial believe and mindset as at when you started so you continue regardless of the failures.

what we normally see as motivation without results or proof most of the time comes from those who do not have anything to show for what they are saying, it's like you're wearing a shoe and it hurt you somewhere at your feet.

meanwhile someone is standing before telling you to keep standing that altho your shoe hurts your feet you should keep standing, he is not feeling the hurt as you, if he truly had felt that pain wearing the same shoe then motivation becomes useful when he shows you what he practically did when he wore the shoe and how he manage the pain and stood for a very long time despite the hurt, then you can now act on that motivation to chieve the same results as he did.

consistency and motivation works hand in hand and not as a stand alone entity each requires the other to achieve results, you need motivation to keep being consistent especially when results are not coming forth, you also need consistency to keep on being motivated to continue especially when you feel weak, the more results you achieve the more you feel motivated to keep going, so therefore the results of consistency is a motivation in itself.
