Please my friends and steemians, help me celebrate my country on her 59th anniversary. Nigeria is a great country, a country flowing in milk and honey. Nigeria got independent in October 1st, 1960 from British. A country that accommodate anyone from any country without racism and tribalism. A great country with more than 200 tribes, a country with many cultures and estimated 60% are Christianity, 38% are Islam and 2% are traditional worshippers.
What amazed me is that a country with so many natural resources are still suffering from economic melt-down, where as 70% of Nigeria are wallowing in abject poverty, and high rate of unemployment among youths
No chairs and lockers for primary school pupils to seat and learn.
No chairs and lockers for secondary school students to seat and learn and some of the buildings are dilapidated.
No board to write and still leaving in the old method of learning.
No equipment to cater for new born babies as you can see it, the children are lying on the chairs.
No adequate water supply, children are drinking dirty water, despite the fact of money spending on water resources, we see no impact.IMG-20191001-WA0009.jpg
No appropriate provision for Islamic center to facilitate learning.
No adequate provision for high institutions to facilitate learning.
But our politicians are enjoying and flourishing. We need good leaders to help us. Only few Nigerians are enjoying, the rest are suffering.
