We are in the position where at home my younger cousin was staying with us and we are in that position where we ate together, did everything. We are just twins.
So, at the time we had the very normal moments, the bad moments of fights, fighting together, separated and still come back and the bond was strong. All of a sudden, my parents sent me out of the States to school. I was faced with new friends, new beginnings, new places, new fights and everywhere else.
Years passed, we met at the family gathering. They were celebrating our aunt's wedding. At that moment, we were not feeling each other at all. Again, the bond had gone with all the play, all the memories just faded away.
I just realized this moment that bonds are like plants that we have to water and if we are not willing to water them, they might dry up. And not because of anything but because we neglected the important part of relationship which is communication even when we are far apart.
This moment I tried to check on people. I like to be close to everyone. I like to be close to everyone. To know how they feel, how everything is going because this is the requirement for a strong bond. And this can strengthen that bond in our relationship.
