Hi my name is John I am a Jamaican, but most of all I am a citizen of the human race . Growing up we always wanted that new bike,that hit action figure ,that new gadget ,that new shirt ,you get it.As a kid and a young teenager, we always wanted it all ,but now grown and understanding life's struggles,its ups and downs .we can now say we have attained a level of humility,empathy,a level of selflessness throughout our time here on earth .
In a world so full of selfishness,pride,judements,conflicts within self,anger.you pushed through barriers to go above and beyond for people you care about ,you do this like clock work,until it becomes part of you .you are that sacrificial lamb ,you are that wall that stands between light and darkness,you literally throw yourself in front of the bus to protect the ones you love and care so much about and yet they are never,never,ever going to understand the true intensity and effort you put in to actually make them happy ,why ? ,because they don't appreciate?No,because you did it with a beautiful and contagious smile.
You drown your pain with laughter ,you push back your tears with raised cheeks,you suppress your worries with long walks ,you begin to appreciate nature in a way you never thought possible, the soothing gentle kisses of the wind on your forehead makes you realise how wonderful life can be when you give to people that appreciates every bit and pieces of your existence.you sacrifice ,you commit,you give ,you love,you share,and do you do this for praises? ,we do this because we realise that we are apart of something that is much bigger than ourselves ,we realize that we are apart of a much bigger puzzle and we are just a small piece of it .Martin Luther King Jr once said ,"a man that stands for nothing cannot die for something" .some stand for family ,some for close friends ,some for religion ,some for spouses ,whatever it is that we as human beings stand for we've got to give .
