Yea, yea.. I know what u might be thinking.. how can I be 51 and only now have I gone to my first music festival?. well, that's just how it is. I been to a medieval festival, does that count? :P
My guess was there were about a thousand people who attended, over 3 days.
Have u ever seen so many people in hats??
I was very impressed how organized the event was. I also marveled at this great big canopy..
check out this cool bike i saw in the rack..
Things were so chill. Live Oak was at the College real near. (the college where my uncle taught for many a year) it was a quick car ride.. only about 10 minutes. And the day turned out pretty ideal.. weather wise. It was oh so cold when we left around 9 am.
There were many different local bands. The two that we saw and listened to were very good.. like, I would buy or download their music good. The first one reminded me of Rascal Flats. They were called Still Acoustic. The next was a woman with a country accent. I don't listen to country, but she was GOOD.
There were also some food tents setup as well as some more tents selling stuff. There was even a petting zoo! :P we didn't walk around tho.
some more pics I took..
