Look what I found.. I was feeling not so great right after my depressing ordeal (grocery shopping) and this was just laying there, right by the car, passenger front side. I normally wouldn't touch a thing laying on the ground, but I saw that it was gold, first thing.. that it had a pic of money on it.. AND I thought it must be a pack of cigs.
I used the 'portrait' mode on my phone. see how it focuses on the target, but blurs the background?
It must've just fallen out of someone's pocket, or who knows.. maybe someone planted it here exactly to cheer up the person who found it! That would be such an awesome thing to do!
I took a closer look and saw that the were NOT cigs, and they were brand new.. still in the wrapper with price tag and all! I did look around for anyone looking for these, and even thought about turning em into the customer service at safeway.. but I doubt anyone would miss these enough to return to safeway and hunt for em. :P I'll just play with them in honor of whoever lost/left em.. (sorry, but thank u to the universe :)
It's doubly cool since my mom, my son, and I play cards A LOT. (almost daily) so if there is one thing we always use.. :P
The cards nowadays are getting pretty awesome. My daughter gave me some star wars cards for xmas, so I got those..
we used those for a while, but I put them away when the cards started fading and getting bent.. we are using some old cards from like 2 years ago.. they are really sticky and stained sometimes. I ordered these from Amazon..
I was tempted to get the dragon ones for just a bit more cost, but I figured my mom would like seeing the more familiar look. They are plastic and waterproof, so stains shouldn't be a problem anymore, and they should last a long time.. If they get sticky, then just wipe them down??
Now I have these gold cards as well. Maybe I'll start collecting playing cards!
