I like the way the #COMedyRumble contest is going. After the last post about the current standings every one has been really proactive. It's beautiful to see a lot of girls taking the lead, afterall it would be wrong if they weren't, ladies first is the order of the day. If this was 2012, it wouldn't have actually mattered but it does now, a lot of things do matter now, like me deciding to become a child of six years with lots of toys and no gender, I'm sure the society would appreciate me for who I've become, a six year old.
Talking about appreciation, I want to appreciate you all for the love of recent, it's been really loveable and it makes me really happy to see a lot of comments on my posts nowadays. I'm moved, each time I say to myself "oh, they fking love me"** and I do a little dance of celebration even though i know it's all for the engagement prize, I just would love to revere this moment because I know it wouldn't last, like wow, I love you all and I want you all to know that even if you all stop engaging on my not so funny posts, I'll always remember the little moments we shared, it just..is precious to me.
But I'm actually not here to talk about you all. Instead I'm here to talk about dogs, yeah maybe I'll talk about my alcohol experience later, there's really a lot to tell. For now I'll just stick to dogs, I know you're wondering why but I've done a lot of research and I've noticed there's a lot of love for dogs and the animals in general nowadays. There's a lot of rights reserved for these precious creatures and that's good, very good.
I didn't have any pet growing up. There was this white kitten I found in front of my house when I was twelve. I was so excited to finally have something i could shower with all my love and care but unfortunately, my mother saw it and decided it was a witch immediately, I couldn't believe it, I looked at the little kitten and looked back at my mom and in my mind I was like you mean witches can be this cute?. It was hard to believe but then I'm sure my mom is way smarter than I could ever be.
So I had no pet but I had a neighbor who had a pet. A little white dog called Tania. The dog was actually quite friendly, very quiet and very playful around my neighbors kids. I had always seen them stroke it's hair and say really sweet things to it, then it'll chase them around and give me the look at what your missing smile. I felt really bad, one because I was scared of dogs and two because i was really scared of dogs.
But then one day I summoned all the courage in the world and walked towards where Tania was caged. She looked extra beautiful that day and she had a smirk on her face when she saw me approaching her. I reached her cage and we both exchanged eye contact for a while. Nobody said anything, just stare, the I took the bold move and started to stroke her hair. She closed her eyes to enjoy the moment, I too was having a good time when she raised her mouth and aimed for my hand. She clearly went with thr intention to kill. But thank God for sharp reflexes, I immediately removed my hand, missing my hand by a very slight inch, I felt her thing touch me a little.
Then she smiled again at me, my heart was out of my chest and I had to wait for a while before my breathing steadied. After that ordeal my fear for dogs became worse. I had stayed away from dogs until another day when I went to go visit a friend, then he escorted me down his street, on the way we saw two guys, one was struggling with a bull dog and the other just trailed them. I was just going to pass them but my friend walked up to them and stared at the dog ( he's quite experienced with dogs, always told us tales about his uncle dogs and how he used to take of them).
He then raised his hand to touch this dog, at that moment I laughed in my mind, dogs are really deceptive. The dog enjoyed the soothing feeling for a while then like it just came out of a trance, it almost ate my guys hand for dinner, but he was lucky enough too, but after that the dog became pretty violent breaking the chain and guess what? It decided to chase me and my friend alone. I kept screaming jesus! While I ran because if there was ever a time I needed him, it was this one time.
We ran untill we ending climbing a car and staying on top it. The dog made attempt to climb it but since it couldn't, it just laid down in front of the car, waiting. We ended staying up there for a while until the owner finally found his dog and took it home. So after such ordeals you'd be sure I learnt my lesson. But I still didn't, this time I visited a family friend who had a chihuahua, it was quite beautiful. I didn't go near it because i already had this phobia for dogs.
But after noticing that my elder sis had started to become close with the dog I felt somehow. This dog's name was Jasper and it seemed very friendly. I had to be really controlling of myself not to go anywhere near it or so I thought. But I still went near it, very near it but I didn't touch it at first, I just stared at it, whenever I went close to him, he'll run away. I started to wonder if I wasn't fine enough for the dog. Everyone could touch it but when it came to my turn, I couldn't. I got frustrated and decided to devise a means to get it.
I found some fishes in the kitchen and laid it down on the floor where I stood. It didn't take long for Jasper to run towards where I stood. He first did this ohh you think you can get me with that patrol but finally ended up right in front of me. While he went to work devouring the fish, I bent down and gave a really nice pet on the back. It was weird but men it felt good. I gave it a nice rub again. This time he loved it because he just stayed put and closed his eyes.
I had finally gotten what I wanted, I just stayed there petting the dog for a while but when I had had enough I stood up and left Jasper. It wasn't surprising that the dog followed me, I tried to chase it away but it kept coming back. So I decided to give it another nice rub on the back. I didn't know I was digging my own pit. Because after that Jasper didn't leave me be, he'll wrap himself around my leg and do one weird dance. When my friend saw us he laughed and told me He's fking your leg.
Can you imagine the trauma I must have gone through after having a dog f**k my leg. I couldn't sleep well for a whole night and the image kept playing in my head. After such another ordeal I'm never going anywhere near dogs and if you know what's good for you, you shouldn't too.
