Hello, my name is Ifenyi, I'm Nigerian 🇳🇬 and I live in Atlanta 🇺🇸. Being 9ja and growing up in Philadelphia I'm what most would call a "true hustler".. in a good way 😇. I've long been interested in any and all things mostly hidden from the masses and I'll do whatever necessary to turn nothing into something .. I heard about Bitcoin over 5 years ago when Silk Road was booming! I, of course, had no interest in converting my hard earned money into some "cryptic" currency mostly used for the illicit drug trade among other things 🤔. So I swept the offer under the rug and forgot about Bitcoin until recently the word Bitcoin started popping up everywhere. So quite naturally I did a little research, on YouTube 👨🏾💻, and I really started taking an interest in decentralized currency systems. Unfortunately even then I didn't buy any Bitcoin as I'm a super skeptic.. 😩 ahem did you guys forget about the great Ponzi Scheme, or the housing market crash of 2008..? Basically trusting any organization or platform with your money is a toss up. When Bitcoin started hovering around $1000USD I realized that myself and one of my main partners Izzo Izzo had made a grave mistake 5 years prior by not buying into Bitcoin when it was $50USD/BTC - we would have probably made several hundred thousand dollars had we bought in back then 😫. This isn't where the story ends tho... My good friend and Steem power user Bee - @opinizeUnltd had been telling myself and others we really should look into investing some of our expendable income into Cryptocurrencys. So a few months ago I downloaded the Coinbase app and literally was flabbergasted when I noticed that a Bitcoin was around $2000USD 😳, still I was a little hesitant, could it drop back down to $50USD, is this even legal, will I lose my "fun money" chasing an already mature investment 🙃!??? Well boy was I wrong, in the past 2 months BTC has surged almost to $5000USD/BTC 😮 and I'm sure some people have made a lot of money 💰. So as me and my boys were headed out on a Yacht in South Beach Miami for a Sunset Cruise (pic below) I opened up Coinbase and I purchased my first Bitcoin! 🎉
Well not only did I purchase some Bitcoin, I purchased some Ethereum as well, which my Ether play ended up giving me over 100% return as it skyrocketed to almost $400USD 📈 while I purchased around $160USD. Needless to say I'm IN now..🤑 my guy @opinizeUnltd put me down with SteemIt a few weeks ago and here I am. Follow me and my journey into crypto investing 📲💵💴💶💷.
