01:50 am
In day's infancy
In a land where calamity is pepper, oil & salt.
A shivering light crept like a tot on atmosphere
Into the holes on naked doors of a widow sleeping on a mat.
The woman in her sleep-
Holding petal and rose beside a river craving for new life
A faint voice jumped the surface of the door
Into the ear hole of the widow
The dream ended and her eyes began shuddering,
She fearfully dragged herself out of sleep
excreting urine and faeces
-Walking to the door with her wear wetted with sweat
Like a bread soaked in water
With axe to dug fox hole
With her mouth eulogizing her husband's spirit
With her husband's shoe that beats the ground
She opened the door
At outside,
-on a bench her child sat
holding his late father's broken torch
Shedding tears like sky mood in April
Along with her belly crying for food.
