Waiting for the moment to quit. My mind is made up. life is a maze.
Today, I live for two- my sister and I. The street is strict. More reasons to stay up and live.
We turned around in circles when we were young, telling Emily to catch me. Our future in a glass.
We move forward in faith until we meet our fears, wondering when it would all cease. Life is a teacher we say, but will her lessons ever stop?
We shed light on our paths, as we light it up with love so true. Our past is a reflection of what we were. We never know what the future holds.
Should I quit? My mind races with options. I hear the voices of hope and strength beneath the struggles. They say light still shines at the end of the tunnel.
The end is not in sight. Woes happen daily. I need to know if all that is left is all there is, or should I just quit?
