Haircut, Fish & Chips, Ilao Ilao & My Actifit Report Card: April 14 2024
Today started with me waking up with slightly puffy eyes, a result of shedding tears while watching 'A Journey', a Filipino movie on Netflix last night. The movie tells the story of a woman with cancer who opts not to undergo treatment but instead creates a bucket list to fulfill with her husband and childhood friend. It's a touching tale about life, death, and love. Despite its sadness, the ending provides a sense of closure. Overall, I really enjoyed it, and hey, at least my eyes got cleaned from all the crying! 馃槄
Since my housemate friend and I were both busy cleaning, we didn't have time to cook. Instead, we opted to have a meal at our favorite fish and chips restaurant and then take a leisurely stroll around The Mall afterward. Then I decided to get a haircut which I actually planned for next week. Fortunately, Amanda my hairdresser was free right at that moment. And, as always, we indulged in some Ilao Ilao yogurt ice cream before heading home. Can't resist that delicious treat! 馃崷馃槃
