My little boy likes reading. Last year ,I thought he was ready to be an independent reader so I bought a dozen of chapter books for him. I selected the books based on his interests. Boys usually like adventure and science stuff.It seemed I made a very good choice. He really loves the books and reads books whenever he is free at home.
So far, he has read two-thirds of the books I bought. And he’s even read some books more than twice.The first thing he does when he wakes up is reading ,and the last thing he does before going to bed is reading ,too. He is so addicted to reading that I have to minimize his reading time and take him to more outdoor activities.
But one day, he said, “I don’t want to read Cam Jensen anymore.”
I was surprised, “Why?”
He pointed at one book cover of the whole set of Cam Jensen,said, “ Look at the picture, she is a girl.”
“So?”
“I want to read boys’ books.”
What??????
