I come here to tell you that these days, my baby and I were very bored at home, so I started to tidy up a bit while I had her behind me at all times 🤭, so as I saw that she was bored too and in view of the mess she had with her crayons on the table we both shared to do our things, I decided to do a craft with her (well I did it, but she "helped" me) 😅.

Because of the above mentioned, I like her to "help me" every time I want to make something, as long as she can collaborate, so we decided to make something to put her colored pencils and avoid having them lying everywhere, a pencil holder you could say. What we needed for this were simple materials:
🌼1 tubito de papel higiénico
🌼Tijeras
🌼Pinturas
🌼Pincel
🌼Silicón
🌼Calcomanías
🌼1 small tube of toilet paper
🌼Scissors
🌼Paints
🌼Brush
🌼Silicone
🌼Stickers
The first thing we did was to remove all the paper that was left on the tube, then we marked the shape on a piece of cardboard and then cut it out to cover one of the sides of the tube. We cut out the shape we previously marked and glued it with enough silicone.
Once we have this ready, we proceed to paint with the colors we like the most, in our case we applied white since we want to decorate it with decals. Once it is completely painted, we wait for it to dry.
When it was completely dry, my little girl proceeded to place the stickers in the way she liked the most, she placed as many as she wanted and how she wanted 🤭 . To finish, I glued some double-sided celoven on the bottom so that it would be fixed to the table and would not fall off when I took the crayons 🌈 .
And this was the result, something simple and easy but that helps to distract our little ones. Besides, encouraging crafts in children will help them not only to enhance their creativity, their patience, their ability to concentrate or their psychomotor skills. It will also regulate stress levels, reinforce their self-esteem, improve their social and teamwork skills.
As I was already inspired to make this craft. After a while I proceeded to make a little bigger one, I just didn't take pictures of the procedure, but here I show you the result. They are simple things that can be done with the help of our children and thus distract us with them and share a fun and different time.
