Hey Jessifers
This is a two-parter simply because of the fact that I normally write my posts a day in advance and then simply log in to my drafts and click publish or in some cases schedule my post to go live but today I logged in and I was like WTF? Where's my damn post! Seems like my internet connection or busy didn't get along and nothing was autosaved so I'm sitting here trying to piece back together the shards of my thoughts.
But here goes!
People are talking, talking about people
As you can probably tell from my posts I can be quite the chatterbox, when I get a topic between my teeth I will run with it and I happy to discuss all factors of it. I am more of a concepts person than a peoples person.
Sure If I think you are of value and we can connect I'm happy to learn about you and your quirks, what you like and don't like but what I positively do not enjoy is just talking about people for talking's sake.
People love talking about other people, be it gossip or not, is your mind so free of concerns of yearning for knowledge that you choose to waste your time keeping up with what other people are doing to the most insignificant detail and then commenting on what you think they should be doing or not doing?
Personally, this is not what I look for when engaging in a conversation and often shy away from it. it's just not fascinating to me and I'm happy to sit in silence should there be nothing of value to say.

Empty vessels make the most noise
I'm not saying every conversation I have must be some thought-provoking piece but seriously you can tell when people are talking for the sake of it and not for any sort of substance. Maybe try to quiet your mind instead, remove these topics as they are all just distractions. Find something you truly enjoy and persue that and talk about it with passion.
Talking about people all the time is simply a way to keep your mind distracted from things you actually don't want to face. Looking externally so you never have to look internally, taking some sort of moral high ground that your social commentary is worth a damn? Who made you an expert on someone else's life when to me this behaviour shows you don't even have a grip on your own life.
I thought this song would be catchy and apt for today's discussion
Today is the second ever SPUD day
So power up that liquid steem or that SBD or purchase some steem and add it to your account, its all about the powerups today baby! I've powered up all my liquid steem and I'll buy a few more a bit later. I really want to reach my goal of 3000 STEEM soon, 60% to dolphin here we go!
