Newcastle were planning to spend big this season as they're Saudi money looks to reshape the club, they've brought in 4 players but were looking to make a big name signing in the form of Hugo Ekitike, ultimately the deal fell through and he moved to PSG and now the magpies are looking for alternatives.
The signing of Ekitike, also seems to have shut the door on a move for Pepe to PSG, so with Eddie Howe looking for a forward and Pepe in need of a move, the two could strike a deal.
Pepe is available for 25 million far, less than the 38 they were willing to pay for Ekitike and they're getting a player with premier league experience. Pepe might not have been a success at Arsenal due to his £72 million price tag but he has scored 27 goals and registered 21 assists in 112 games in all competitions since his move to England.
Newcastle isn't the only club keen with Spanish club Seville said to have already submitted a bid worth £15 million plus add-ons but the Arsenal aren't happy with such a low ball figure and are holding out for more.
If we can bag £25 million for him I would be stoked, I really just want him to move on, I am sick of seeing his side ways passing and no ablity to get passed a full back time and time again.
Who knows maybe Newcastle is a better fit for him just look at Saint-Maximin, who gets so much freedom to do what he wants, perhaps Pepe can have the same on the other flank.
