And for us shopkeepers, we are truly incomplete without our phones nowadays. Whether we need to order a new phone model, show something to a customer, or check market rates online, none of these tasks can be done without a mobile. Now, all calculations, online payments, and price updates are just a single tap away right in front of you.
Even customers have become so fast-paced these days. Before even stepping into the shop, they send a message asking, "Are you at the shop?" or "Do you have this specific item available?" It is so true that managing a shop—or even getting through daily life—is simply impossible without a mobile phone.
Of course, mobile phones have one massive advantage: no matter where a person is sitting in the farthest corner of the world, you can video-call them as if they are sitting right next to you.
However, the other side of this picture is quite bitter. Everyone is present at home, tea is being served, but every single person is sitting with their head bowed down into their mobile screen. Those traditional family gatherings and heart-to-heart conversations have vanished. Digital connections have multiplied, but the warmth and personal touch between loved ones have faded away.
There is no doubt that mobile phones have made our lives much easier. Today, if you need to find a direction, Google Maps is there; if you need to send money to someone, it takes just a few seconds; and an entire ocean of knowledge and information sits right inside your pocket.
Yet, this convenience has made us so dependent on it that if the internet goes down for even a single hour, it feels as though life has come to a complete halt. Life turns miserable, and all peace of mind vanishes.
That customer was 100% right: living without a mobile and the internet is truly out of the question now.

اج کل رات کو سوتے وقت بھی ہاتھ میں موبائل ہوتا ہے اور صبح اٹھتے ہی سب سے پہلے موبائل پکڑنا ہے ـ
حالانکہ پرانے وقتوں میں جب صبح اٹھتے تو سب سے پہلے گھڑی کو دیکھتے اور گھر والوں سے امنے سامنے بات کرتے ـ
اور اج کا دور تو ایسا ہے کہ سب سے پہلے انکھ کھلتے ہی، صبح کے ٹائم ہاتھ موبائل کی طرف اٹومیٹکلی چلا جاتا ہے ـ
نوٹیفکیشن، ایس ایم ایس میسجز، چیک کرنے کے لیے اور رات کو سونے سے پہلے بھی اخری چیز جو انکھوں کے سامنے ہوتی ہے وہ موبائل کی روشنی ہی ہوتی ہےـ
یہ موبائل اب کوئی شوق نہیں رہا، بلکہ ہماری عادت بن چکی ہے ـ
اور ہم دکاندار تو اب موبائل کے بغیر سچ میں ادھورے ہیں ـ
کیونکہ نیا ماڈل منگوانا ہو، یا گھاک کو کچھ دکھانا ہو بازار کا کوئی بھی ریٹ نیٹ سے دکھانا ہو،یہ سب سارے کام موبائل سے بغیر نہیں ہو سکتے ـ
اب سارا حساب کتاب ان لائن پیمنٹ اور ریٹس کی معلومات ایک انگلی ٹچ پر لگاؤ اور اپ کے سامنے ہے ـ
اب تو گھاگ بھی اتنے فاسٹ ہیں دکان پہ انے سے پہلے ہی پوچھ لیتے ہیں کہ اپ شاپ پہ ہیں یا ،پھر یہ چیز اپ کے پاس ہے یا نہیں ـ یہ تو سچ ہے کہ اب تو سارے کام دکان کے بغیر تو کیا موبائل کے بغیر بھی نہیں ـ
ویسے تو موبائل کا ایک یہ بھی بہت بڑا فائدہ ہے کہ دوسرا انسان کسی بھی دنیا کے اخری کونے میں بھی بیٹھا ہو تو اس سے ویڈیو کال پر ایسے بات ہو جاتی ہے جیسے کہ وہ ساتھ میں بیٹھا ہو ـ
لیکن اس کا دوسرا پہلو بھی بہت تلخ ہے ـ
گھر میں سب موجود ہوتے ہیں چائے بھی پی جاتی ہے، لیکن ہر کوئی اپنے موبائل میں سر جھکائے بیٹھا ہوتا ہے، اپس کی وہ بیٹھک وہ دل کی باتیں گم ہو گئی ہیں رابطے بہت زیادہ موبائل پہ ہو گئے ہیں، لیکن اپنوں کے درمیان وہ گرم جوش وہ اپنا پن ختم ہو چکا ہے ـ
اس میں کوئی شک نہیں کہ موبائل نے ہماری زندگیاں بہت اسان کر دی ہیں ـ اج کل تو اگر راستہ ڈھونڈنا ہو تو گوگل میپ ہے، کسی کو پیسے بھیجنے ہو تو سیکنڈوں کا کام ہے، اور علم و معلومات کا سمندر جیب میں ہے ـ
لیکن اس سہولت نے ہمیں اس کا اتنا عادی بنا دیا ہے کہ اگر ایک گھنٹے کے لیے نیٹ بند ہو جائے تو ایسا لگتا ہے جیسے زندگی رک گئی ہو، زندگی عذاب بن جاتی ہے، ھر چیز میں سکون ختم ہو جاتا ہے ـ
اس کسٹمر کی بات بالکل سچ تھی کہ موبائل اور نیٹ کے بغیر سچ میں کوئی گزارا نہیں ہے ـ
چلیں! اپ بتائیں کہ اپ کا پورا دن موبائل کے بغیر کیسے گزرتا ہےـ
