I remembered when I was still a teacher,one school I taught the has a topic for each teacher to take with the whole student every week till the end of the team each teacher takes turn. I remembered a topic I once talked about which is "integrity" I remember telling them that integrity cover good quality a person can half. Your integrity will tell who you are , if you are real or been feeding with lies. Most people always tend to forget integrity,they focus more on honest, kindness and so on but forget integrity which is covers all.
It's not about just being kind or being honest,it is about keeping that consistency always,it's not about saying the truth so you can gain people's trust but saying the truth at all time even when no one is watching, extending kindness even at the smallest common thing when no one is there to even give you applaud.

You may be kind in public and opposite in private, so it is not about being kind, it's about living by what you call yourself, not the ones that change character due to some situations or circumstances that's the real definition of a good person to me. Being a good person doesn't mean to be perfect as no one is ever perfect but the fact that you don't have to speak that IOU are a good person before someone acknowledge you as one, your character,your results ,your relationship with people will show if truly you are a good person or not.
Good attribute cannot be forced,if it's a pretence,it won't be long before one get exposed, Being good comes from within, it will be part of you, you act it consciously and unconsciously, that persistent is what people will see to tell who you truly are and that is how I can also recognize a Good person. I'm cannot vouch for someone I only see on screen, that is why I don't judge anyone when there's issues going on between celebrities,I know none of them, they only present to us what they want us to see, people who live with them only can tell who they really are .
To me, the best way to identify a good person is through integrity (being consistent doing good) .
