Though it is just one day, to me the 4th of July represents the freedom for all of us to act as agents on our own behalf. Because Steemit is a global platform, not all may share in the same rights. But those same Steemians are on this platform to create awesome content for the world, and to support others around the globe. Exercising that personal freedom to do so is, in and of itself, a freedom of celebration.
