It's our day off from work, so that we can rest and relax for a while. My partner and I have almost the same work schedule, so we have time to spend together. Today, we heard about a newly opened restaurant that sells Ilocos Empanada. I have been craving it for weeks, and it's time to have some.
We traveled to the restaurant. It is located in the town proper, and we used Google Maps to get there easily. It's just a simple restaurant, and their menu was posted on the wall. We checked the meals they sell, and they have a wide variety of snacks and foods.
As soon as we got there, I checked out the surroundings and the restaurant's vibe. It's a typical local carinderia in town, with simple tables and chairs, and it has everything you need for a meal.
They sell different kinds of pansit, some famous Filipino viands, and their best-selling Ilocos Empanada. We came here for that. I went to the counter, ordered, and paid right away. We were told to wait for a while since they would cook them first.
My partner and I sat down at one of the tables while we waited. He was busy on his phone, and I scrolled through my social accounts. We waited for about 15 minutes before the staff called my name. I grabbed our order, and it was still hot. We went straight home after buying it since we planned to eat it with a cup of coffee.
