Siempre que llega febrero, el tema del amor se vuelve una constante, pero nunca es demasiado reflexionar sobre su importancia en nuestras vidas. De eso se trata esta iniciativa, que aprecio porque considero que el ingrediente fundamental, cada vez que se desea emprender es el amor, sin él los resultados no son los esperados.

Toda actividad humana, por sencilla o cotidiana que sea, lleva su buena dosis de este maravilloso sentimiento. Lo resumo de esta manera: lo que vayas a hacer ponle amor para que te salga bien.

Vamos a decir que el amor es la brújula que va mostrando el camino y que permite hacer los cambios, tomar previsiones, corregir y retomar el cauce para que todo tenga éxito. Su no presencia torna gris el panorama y le quita fuerza a lo que se esté haciendo; las personas se observan desanimadas, desinformadas y sin espíritu de pertenencia porque no aman lo que están haciendo.

Me ubico en mi profesión docente por ser la actividad que realicé por más de treinta años. Cada grupo humano que iniciaba clases requería un personal que asumiera con vocación, (que no es más que amor por lo que se hace), su entrenamiento. Cada traba o logro se asumía con compromiso o alegría. Quien no poseía esa cualidad renegaba de su trabajo y hacía una labor mediocre, pero quien sentía amor por lo que hacía era capaz de asumir empresas casi imposibles.

Esto pasa inclusive cuando realizamos una comida, si la hacemos con desamor queda desabrida aunque tenga buenos ingredientes, pero si hay esmero, entusiasmo y ganas de satisfacer a los comensales, queda deliciosa aunque los ingredientes sean pocos.

El amor es la vitamina para que un proyecto se dé, es esa fuerza, la motivación extrínseca e intrínseca, lo es todo. Emprender desde el amor implica cuidar lo que se hace desde antes de su comienzo; yo diría que tal cual como cuando se planifica un hijo. La emoción, las interrogantes, las anticipaciones, y hasta los miedos. Implica estar allí con entrega. Por ello cuando el proyecto decae, la frustración y enojo son similares a una ruptura, hay dolor y esperanza en la reconciliación hasta que se supere el duelo.

Con tal energía se emprende porque se tiene fe en la fuerza que se entrega. Los proyectos se vuelven un hijo más y solo se delega la responsabilidad en quien participa del hecho con el mismo amor porque se tiene resquemor de que otro no ponga el mismo empeño.

Es maravilloso ver lo que puede lograrse cuando se emprende desde el amor. Este puede sembrarse en los que forman parte de ello. Cuando esto se logra puede verse la mística con que cada uno defiende lo que siente como propio.

Estoy convencida de que es el amor en la familia, las empresas, las instituciones, y cada uno de nosotros el que logra que tengamos buenos momentos, nuestros proyectos se cumplan y las acciones y espacios se nutren de ello.

Whenever February comes around, the topic of love becomes a constant, but it is never too much to reflect on its importance in our lives. That is what this initiative is about, which I appreciate because I consider that the fundamental ingredient, whenever one wishes to undertake an enterprise, is love, without it the results are not the expected ones.

Every human activity, no matter how simple or everyday it may be, has its fair share of this wonderful feeling. I summarise it in this way: whatever you are going to do, put love into it so that it will work out well.

Let's say that love is the compass that shows the way and allows us to make changes, take foresight, correct and get back on track so that everything succeeds. Its absence turns the panorama grey and takes away the strength of what is being done; people are discouraged, uninformed and without a spirit of belonging because they do not love what they are doing.

I place myself in my teaching profession because it was the activity I carried out for more than thirty years. Every group of people that started classes required a staff that assumed with vocation, (which is nothing more than love for what they do), their training. Each task or achievement was undertaken with commitment or joy. Those who did not possess this quality would disown their work and do a mediocre job, but those who had a love for what they did were capable of taking on almost impossible tasks.

This happens even when we make a meal, if we make it with lack of love it is tasteless even if it has good ingredients, but if there is care, enthusiasm and desire to satisfy the diners, it is delicious even if the ingredients are few.

Love is the vitamin that makes a project happen, it is the force, the extrinsic and intrinsic motivation, it is everything. Undertaking from love implies taking care of what is done before it begins; I would say that just as when planning a child. The excitement, the questions, the anticipations, and even the fears. It involves being there with commitment. So when the project falters, the frustration and anger are similar to a break-up, there is pain and hope in reconciliation until the grief is overcome.

With such energy one undertakes because one has faith in the strength that one gives. The projects become another child and the responsibility is only delegated to the one who participates in the act with the same love because there is resentment that someone else will not put the same effort into it.

It is wonderful to see what can be achieved when it is undertaken out of love. It can be sown in those who are part of it. When this is achieved, you can see the mystique with which each person stands up for what he or she feels is his or her own.

I am convinced that it is love in the family, in companies, in institutions and in each one of us that ensures that we have good times, that our projects are fulfilled and that actions and spaces are nourished by it.
