In fact, it's just plain broken. There is so much pain in this world. Sometimes, as I contemplate school shootings, crippled children, nations chemically exterminating their own people, and selfish politicians, I JUST CAN'T STAND IT!
Then I consider the fact that God sees all that I see, plus all the thousands of details of millions of pain-filled lives, and really wonder how HE can stand it.
The biblical answer is that He is patiently waiting for each person to have a chance to come to Him for salvation.
But there is another facet to all of the pain and challenges we face, too.
I believe we are in training for what we will be doing for all of eternity.
When we face troubles, we are either practicing grace, creatively finding answers to implement improvement, or allowing others to see how a Christian responds to difficulties.
How respond to them is what really matters.
