I'm really excited. I finally found a temporary drawing tablet for my art work. I can finally get to work on the content for my game Coin Quest: Dark Stakes. Thanks to @michelleh82 and
@kingarbinv for pointing out some websites with alternate tablets from the expensive Wacom tablets.
Since these websites ship from China, it would take an extreme amount of time to get to me. So I went on Amazon, which I had a gift card balance. I found a couple on there. I would only have to put in around $20.00 of my own money. Which I used some of my earned Steem turned to USD. So this past Friday, I got my new tablet, even got free 2 day shipping.
It's not the best, yet for the $40.00 price. It's not bad. My goal is to get an actual drawing monitor like the Wacom Cintiq or the Huion cheaper priced version which has gotten awesome reviews.
The tablet I did get is the Huion H690
I have had minor issues with it, yet nothing that is too extreme. I didn't realize it was an older tablet, and for some reason on my Windows machine, the screen resolution is wrong in the prefs, so I have to use the whole desktop of both my monitors. On the Mac though it works perfect. So I will be bouncing back and fourth. It's going to take a little time to get use to this tablet. It's a little different then my old Wacom Graphire3 tablet.
Soon I will be posting video of me putting this tablet to the test and showcasing my game and art development. Stay tuned!
