Since I was a child I started to hear this phrase from my mother. If one of her sisters had a problem and came to her asking for advice, my mother would say the magic phrase "let's have a coffee?" And I say magic because it seemed that after they left that coffee shop in the center of the city everything was clearer and the smile was drawn on the faces of my aunts and my mother.

I used to see her with my college friends, with my sisters or when I had a problem and my mother would repeat the magic phrase. Many times it was just to talk and spend the moment in company with a good coffee.

Then I met a boy and every afternoon after work we would go to the cafeteria, order a coffee with milk and no sugar and we would sit and talk until it got dark and everyone went home. In that coffee shop we became sweethearts and chatted about our future plans over a good mocha and vanilla cookies.

Over the years we got married. Now we share our days, projects, victories, failures and goals achieved. We have been together for 10 years now and I still hear that: love let's go for a coffee. I take the opportunity to bring my pencils and cardboard to do my doodles, I scribble while I drink a good coffee and have a good conversation.

A few days ago we visited as a family, my mom, my husband, my daughter and I, a coffee shop in the city. I had already gone last year to their main establishment along with my sister, but now they have a branch in the Sambil shopping center in San Cristobal. They offer a wide menu of snacks and desserts, coffee in all its presentations and you can select your glass to take the amount you want.

We ordered some Galician empanadas that were delicious, a 6 oz coffee with milk, no sugar, a chocolate ice cream for my daughter and I paid $14 for everything. We sat down to enjoy and I started drawing my doodles.
