Hi everyone! For today's Splinterlands Tips and Guides, I will give you some tips when battling in Bronze Tier!
Bronze is the second out of 6 leagues in the Splinterlands, you will be eligible to step up from Novice to Bronze III once you gain 100 to 399 Rating. Next to Bronze III is the Bronze II, it requires 400 to 699 Rating and 1,000 to 4,999 POWER. Lastly, the Bronze I, you need to have 7000 ti 999 Rating and 5000+ Power to step into this Bronze tier.
Below are the Season Reward, Season Rating Reset that you may receive in the Bronze League.
Each League has it's own Summoner's Level limit, this pertains to the maximum summoner's level that a player can summon. Below is a sample illustration of how can you identify what monster can you use depending on your summoner's level.
LVL - pertains to the Summoner's Level
CARDS - this is the required card quantity you need to have and combine to achieve a certain level
Rarity - it pertains to the Monster's Level that the summoner is allowed to summon. Card rarity uses four color codings.
In my opinion, If you are a beginner, buying or renting cards on this Tier is not a good idea (not unless you have the budget and planning to step into a higher league). In this league, as a newbie, better to explore the game first, familiarizing Summoners and monsters abilities will help you a lot! Add to that your low battle rating, even if you are using the most expensive card in Splinterlands, at the end of the battle, your Rating will still be one of the defining factors for your Battle Reward, so better grind your Battle Rating first.
Also, most of the opponents that you will encounter here will be using Starter Decks as well, so most of the time it will be a battle of game plan and strategy.
The best and most recommended Splinters for Bronze League for me is the (1st) Death and (2nd) Fire.
This is my most suggested Splinter that you can use in the Bronze League. It is proven effective against Melee-driven Splinters such as Fire. Below are my recommended 'must have' Summoner and Monsters when using the Death Splinter.
