I know it doesn't mean much but that fact that I have around 6000 steem in total means that when the price of steem goes up a penny, I gain $60 in value for my holdings.
Again it's not much but psychologically its a boost. And, when things are as boring as they have been it's a shot in the arm I really enjoy. It's crazy how a 1 cent jump in price can be so exciting considering where we were 2 years ago lol. But, it's the type of thing that makes me glad I'm still here plugging away on the steem blockchain.
