On this occasion, my theme for this week is related to life and death situations, which I experienced more than six years ago, I never thought I would be in this situation because he was a totally healthy person, and since childhood he played sports, but they were Moments hard where I was with a strong condition that could cost me my life.
At that time, I was processing an operation that was going to be performed on my mother at the hearing, which was approved by the insurance, that day my brother and I took her to the clinic to operate on her, I had severe pain in my head. head, I thought it was because I had not slept well the night before pending that operation, in the end the operation went very well. I returned home, then I took a medication to calm the pain, but it did not go away.
Because the pain continued, my wife and I went to the internist, who gave me medication for my migraine, because this is probably the cause of the problem, also sending me some laboratory tests to rule out anything else. The next day I felt a bit of a headache, despite this I went to work at my school, but it didn't last long because the discomfort in my head increased, and because of this I returned home.
When I got home I began to vomit constantly, again my wife and I went to the clinic and coincidentally the same doctor does not attend, seeing this situation, he sent me to do an emergency CT scan, the result of which was that I had a "Subarachnoid Hemorrhage". ” that is, an aneurysm or stroke, the doctor immediately referred me to another clinical center because I was on the brink of death.
I was in intensive care for four days, where he was cared for by excellent doctors and nurses, thank God I had good health insurance from my job at that time. According to statistics, people with these types of conditions do not survive, but since I have not had cardiovascular problems and I always went hiking, I imagine that this helped me a lot and also that God gave me another opportunity to tell this story.
After spending those days in intensive care, my wife, through a friend, obtained from a state agency the resources needed to perform an operation on my head called Arteriography, which was performed successfully. After all this, I returned home and received treatment for my recovery. These were difficult times for my family, where I was in the hands of God, who gave me another opportunity to be here on earth and to continue enjoying life.
