I'm Officially a Homeowner!!!

Yesterday in one of the biggest moves of my young life, I signed a contract for a brand new house in Washington DC! This is the very first house that my family and I have bought in the U.S. and we're all exceptionally proud of finally becoming homeowners! Yay no more apartments!   

This is a brand new construction in Northeast Washington DC and incidentally this was one of the last homes to be sold in this very unique and beautiful community. I can easily see this community becoming one of DC's finest and poshest in the next 5 years!   

Here is our plot - Number 703A. When it's complete in February (since construction will begin in October and will last about 4 months), it will have 4 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, a two car garage and a rooftop terrace.

I'm so excited right now and can't wait to move into our new home - the sooner, the better! I just wanted to share one of the biggest joys and accomplishments in my life with my favorite community in the world!
