Hi Foodies

Yesterday in my quest for pizza perfection I tried making my own pizza sauce.
I was at the supermarket yesterday after noon and I found a can of chopped Italian tomatoes that had basil and oregano already added.

This can of chopped tomatoes only cost 拢0.55p.I used about 1/3 of it to make enough sauce for 1 large pizza.

I mixed some double concentrated tomato puree into the chopped tomatoes to add some more intensity to the sauce. I also threw in a handful of chopped onion's and some garlic infused olive oil

Once it was all mixed together the sauce smelled amazing, I knew just from the smell this was going to make a delicious pizza sauce.

I made some dough the night before which had been fermenting for around 24 hours.

Time to add the sauce to the base...

Rich, thick, delicious sauce.... :)

Next up we add some fresh mozzarella...

Throw on some pepperoni and a little seasoning...

This one turned out better than most restaurant pizzas I have had...

Look at that juicy pepperoni.... :P

The last thing to do is garnish it with some parsley...

This is so far the best pizza I have ever made. I still need to figure out how to make the base crispier. I guess cooking the base first then adding the ingredient's and cooking it again might work.

Eventually I will buy a pizza stone or preferably a wood fired oven for the summer time.

I will use the same sauce again ,it was incredibly rich and mouth-wateringly tasty.
