Haunted places in USA - Part 1

Hi dear fellow Steemians.. we can always learn something new by reading books. Reading is my favorite hobby. Books are like air to me, my refuelling strategy and my drug of choice. It tells me things like general knowledge, ancient peoples and their kings and so much more!

Okay, enough about my patience in reading. I would like to share about some of the reading that I’ve done on the most haunted place in the USA.

Legend has it that Stanley Hotel, located near Rocky Mountains, is haunted. Many guests have reported to hear the sounds of children playing a strange laughter at night, giving the hotel a very creepy atmosphere. The American classic horror movie ‘The Shinning’ was filmed in this hotel.

In the past, new immigrants to the USA would stay temporarily at the Hull House. They often spoke about seeing a baby devil ghost. It is reported that the ghost had bloodshot eyes and could pass through walls. All the people who saw it would be scared out of their wits.

Fort Mchenry is the fortress used by the Union Army during the American Civil War. Many soldiers said that they’ve seen ghosts there. Once, while a visitor was exploring the place, the gate was suddenly locked. This caused the visitor to be trapped in the darkness of the underground prison for three hours.

Bell Farm is located in the state of Tennessee and is one of the ten most haunted places in the world. According to a legend, the Bell Witch often appears at the farm.
